Not A Day To Day Birth Control Taker

So I'm on birth control but easily forget to take it. I've been on it for almost a year off and on. This past month I started taking it again for about a week or two, but not everyday at the same time as recommend. (Note: I've had a miscarriage back last year and since I've had uncontrollable discharge ever since it won't go away its everyday and I have large amounts when I wake up.) <-- Extra info. Well these past few days I've had a light pink bloody discharge but only happened once each day. Now I've started my period. Can any one help me with this??

Please take your OCPs regularly .Why don't you keep a reminder on your phone . I used to be irregular with my pills and then one fine day  I had some spotting and couple of weeks later I tested positive for pregnancy .The spotting I had was actually due to implantation bleeding. Unless you want an unplanned pregnancy be consistent with your pills.

If you don't take the pill consistently, you can have breakthrough bleeding.  I would suggest a cell phone alarm set to go off daily at the same time and keeping the pill with you so you can make sure you don't miss.
