Pregnancy and Merina IUD
I currently have the Merina IUD. I've had it in place for 3 years now. My husband and I want to get pregnant after the Christmas holidays so I'm wondering how soon can I get pregnant after having the iud removed? I've only had my period probably about 5 or 6 times since I've had the iud. So, after it being removed, should I wait until I've had a period again and then try to get pregnant? Would it be safe to get pregnant right after? Would removing it now be a better idea? Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
after having it taken out you need to have a real period first, then you may start trying. i had mine taken out in Aug 08 and im now pregnant.
