nausea on depo
hi im 20 years old and i been on depo for a year now my question is have anybody experienced nausea while on the depo shot cause i have and i was wondering what people did to ease it if anybody can help that would be helpful, thanks

yes i do all the time!! even after my 3rd injecction.... it is horrible... im done with this shot

Depovera may cause fever, headache, hot flashes, nausea, weakness, pain and redness at the injection site. These effects gradually ware off in the coming months. If the nausea is unbearable and causing lot of discomfort it is best to discuss it with your gynecologist. She may prescribe you medication for decreasing your symptoms. In case nausea persists or is too severe it is best to discuss about some alternative contraceptive option for you. I do hope you find this information useful. Keep us posted.
