Can anyone help me ?

I am 18 years old and about 3 months ago I had an operation for endometriosis, my ovaries where stuck to my pelvic, they did what they had to do and  they also inserted the merina while I was under. recently I have been feeling so unwell and ive been sick for 2 weeks, my body aches, im experiencing white/clear sometimes runny discharge but I never really had discharge until now, slight spotting after sex and pain in what feels like my right ovarie ? My boyfriend days he can feel the plastic, ive been to my local doctor and he gave me tranexamic acid for the spotting and told me to go see a nurse to check if the coil was still there because I couldnt feel the string I went to see the nurse a few days ago now and she said she couldnt check because I needed a consultant im sick of the mess about and just want answers ive dont pg tests and have come back negative but I have also been told that sometimes the hormone in the coil can cancel out positive test results has anyone else experienced this ? !!
