Birth Control and Plan B

I am 19 years old and have been on the birth control pill for about 4 years. I have been sexually active and have been fine. I finished my birth control pack on Saturday and my doctor had not called me in a refill, so I was unable to start again until the following Wednesday. I started normally taking them and took them for about 10 days before I had sex with my boyfriend. I read that they only needed a week to take effect again. When I had restarted my birth control I started bleeding and bled for a little over a week and a half. I am due on my period this week and it has just stopped today. I took a plan B pill last night. Me and him had sex the 18th and I took it the 20th. I guess I am just nervous and wondering what to do. My stomach cramps some and I am a little gassy, which happens sometimes when I am about to start, other than that I feel fine. I just need some reassurence so I know what to do and expect.
