i have partially purple nail beds gp doesnt know what it is

im a 20yr old male and for over a few years now i have had purple nails. I used to not notice it often but now i see it more. They seem to have been getting worse with time and i decided to see my GP about it. They said they thought it might be raynauds but i told them they were purple all the time, sometimes more so when theyre hot and typically most people find my hands warm. They dont seem to worsen much in the cold but they can go darker sometimes seemingly random but usually when im stood up. very occasionally someone will ask me if im ill when i feel ok because my lips hands and face go white but i dont feel a thing, this is much more rare however. My purple nails are purple to about 4/5ths from the bottom of the nail. and a few nails are worse than others. I just wanted to know what this is/ is it just cosmetic and what i should do to help it. thanks in advance. The gp tested my blood and said my vitamin d was kow which has since been rectified. blood oxygen is 98% and blood pressure was good. picture: http://imgur.com/Sbd4Dim
