Hi!
A smudge cell is the remnant or remains of a ruptured cell, associated with fragile lymphocytes as seen in chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Rare type of WBC are seen in malignant or cancer diseases of blood and bone marrow, the most common being rare mature PMN or polymorph nuclear cells.
Please discuss with your doctor/hematologist. Take care!
