Brain Tumor Radiation

I completed 27 treatment of radiation to the mengianoma in my cranium. There were 6 locations for a total of 90 hits.
I developed thrush and could not eat. I took a course of meds that lasted 2 weeks.

My problem is eating. When I put food in my mouth I can not eat it without gagging. The taste in my mouth with the food is horrible. Smells also bother me a great deal.

I have had on occasion ensure and instant breakfast. I have made food but could not eat if for its texture. I would like to know what else I can do but wait until I can eat? I have another doctor appointment next week. I certainly don't want tube feeding. Also should I request a physical therapist?

yes. The biggest problem I am having is eating. I am now taking a med to stimulate my salivary glands. My tumor was debulked last Nov. It was near my right eye.  The tumor is quite large in that is is like a swelling of the outer layer of the brain and follows the bone structure. I know i have a good team of doctors. I am just unable to eat solid food and have difficulty staying active. I can stay in bed the whole day. I think I am depressed as well. After I wrote in this forum I wanted to delete it as I don't think that I will gain any info here. thank you

Do you know where the meningioma is specifically in your cranium?
