ATYPICAL DUCTAL HYPERPLASIA

Hi, I had an fna and a marker placed in my right breast in July 2009.  The lump stayed so a lumpectomy was performed in Aug 2009.  I was then diagnosed with ATYPICAL DUCTAL HYPERPLASIA.  Last week I had an U/S & mammogram and it was discovered I now have a "category 4a complex cyst".  Last week I was also diagnosed with endometrial thickening and fibroids on my ovary.  In June 2009, I was diagnosed with stage 4a thyroid cancer.  Can anyone please tell me what's going on?

I would be most concerned with the thyriod cancer which I know very little about. Is it possible that the thyriod cancer caused the endometrial thickening?
Pubmed is a good site for accurate information. I don't know any thyriod sites, google it, just make sure they have the HON symbol on it!!!!!

Firs of all ADH is NOT cancer but it does increase a woman's risk for developing BC in the future. All these things need not be related ... the category 4 for your complex cyst simply means that the cyst needs to be biopsied ... complex cysts usually have two outer walls and can contain both fluid and solid material. The ovarian diagnosis can be a totally seperate issue also but needs to be followed closely; especially the endometrial thickening. Any of these problems can occur at any time whether the others are present or not.   Regards .....
