Breast Lump that Wiggles

I am 27, and currently breastfeeding my second son. The day after Christmas I discovered a lump on the lower, inner portion of my right breast. It is about 2 1/2 centimeters in length. I know more serious lump aren't supposed to move around, my lump feels attached, but if you touch it you can wiggle it about a centimeter or so. Does that count as moveable? I know it isn't a clogged duct because I've had a few of those before, so I'm thinking perhaps this is a Fibroadenoma? One thing that worries me a little, is that for the past month the milk supply in my right breast has been steadily decreasing even though I have been feeding my son regularly from it. Anyhow, my DH was laid off and we don't have health insurance right now, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks Zouzi. I guess I will just wait and see if it changes or grows, and if it does I will go get it checked out. Hopefully it just goes away. :)

Hi,
Lumps that move around when they are felt tend to be less suspicious and lumps that are fixed and do not move tend to be more suspicious but one cannot always be certain based only on palpation (feeling the lump). This could be a fibroadenoma or a cyst (both benign lumps),but no one can be sure of that...  If you are concerned, you should be seen by a physician who can do an examination (and has some experience with what he/she is feeling) and make recommendations for further evaluation if necessary. If you don't have insurance please find a way to have this lump checked out for your own peace of mind.Best wishes...
