Could it be just a cyst?

I had a mammogram in feb 2017 where a a small 2 mm cysts was spotted (that was noted on the report) I had another one Jan 2018. The only notation was fibroid granular density. Well I have just recently noticed that the 2 mm cyst is much larger now and is protruding through the skin. Wouldn’t they have spotted that it’s size changed back in Jan? Should I try to get it checked tomorrow or do I just wait till Jan to get it rechecked? I don’t know if it’s part of that fibroid granular density or a lump or fibroid tumor or what.
