I had the mammogram. They found an abnormality, which lead to a second sonogram...
They found a 1" tumor that they had intially missed. They biopsied it, and I'll know Wednesday. They couldn't numb me all the way, lest the lidocaine skew the images they used as a guide to look like normal tissue. I am in INCREDIBLE amounts of pain right now. "Take Ibuprofen" my ***.
For the record, I haven't had a period in 3 years. I got pregnant, and after I delivered, I immediately had an IUD put in.
Here's to another 5 days of waiting!
I sent you another note. I guess it went directly to you. Is it possible that you are having periods but your "new" cycle, post baby, is 2-3 days?
I was googling around and found this article which may be useful.

IMHO I think you should see an oncologist along with the surgeon. In some cases they like to treat first and operate later.
Good luck.
It's not as if I have a menstrual cycle I can blame this on- I haven't had a cycle in over two years, since my daughter was born. It'll happen for 2-3 days, then it'll go away. They said the ultrasound was normal, it's not mastitis, and I shouldn't worry anymore.
Still, no one has performed an MRI or a mammogram and it doesn't explain WHY this is happening. It's not like this has always been this way, it was just one day- BOOM! Dimple and inverted nipple and everything else!
Should I push for more testing?
Hi, I am glad you are getting this checked out, TooYoung. I am surprised you didn't do it earlier as your symptoms are pretty dramatic? They qould worry me as well.
I am unable to help with Diagnosis, as what you are describing is not a pattern you hear about on a daily basis. Make sure you are in good hands, and let us know what happens if you are willing.
In the meantime, take care, and I hope you get some answers soon,
