Frustratedj!!

I'm 37 yrs old. Went for my first mamo and was called back due the 1st doc saw something. Had additional views taken and the 2nd doc said he didn't wanna say I had breast cancer but was highly concerned! Single Pleomorphic microcalcifications in both breasts.  Went to have a stereotactic biopsy done after 3hrs on that horrible table the 3rd doc said they were skin calcs. Great!!! He wants me to come back in 6 mos because he doesn't wanna wait till I'm 40. But then my surgeon calls me and is concerned of their findings. Come to find out the 3rd doc isn't confident in his findings that is why he wants me back. I'm very frustrated because why wouldn't he say he wasn't confident. It takes another doc to find this out.

I can certainly understand your frustration and confusion. I personally would gather all my films and reports and make an appointment with a Breast Specialist who is completely independant of the 3 Physicians you have spoken about in your post. There is NO room for confusion when one is dealing with the possibility of Breast Cancer. Perhaps even an Oncologist might be a good choice to go over your films and reports and opinions of the other Dr.s.
