ULTRASOUND GUIDED BREAST BIOPSY

TOMORROW I AM SCHEDULE FOR AN ULTRASOUND BREAST BIOPSY.
I WAS ABOUT TO CANCEL, BUT I WILL HAVE DONE.I AM VERY SCARE . THINKING ABOUT THE PAIN
DURING THE PROCEDURE. AND WITH IMPLANTS, I AM CONCERN OF PERFORATION.
I REQUESTED TO TALK TO THE RADIOLOGIST-INTERVENTIONIST, AND HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS
MY QUESTIONS ARE; HOW THE PROCEDURE IS DONE AND HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE .
IS HE USING THE MAMMOTOME BIOPSY SYSTEM? ALL IS UNANSWERED.
BY THE WAY MY MAMMOGRAPHY WAS DONE ON AUG.13,2009 AND CAME BACK NORMAL
TWO WEEKS LATER I FOUND AN SMALL LUMP IN MY RIGHT BREAST. I NEED HELP!!! TONIGHT.

Hi there!!
I am so happy for you alidi!! I was thinking all day long about you and so glad that everything went smoothly. You surely need your rest after all the anxiety you went through!! If you have some pain, a little Tylenol would help...also apply some ice it will help if you have some bruises. All the best to you..

I went for the Ultra.Guided Biopsy today,it was very simple and almost painless
The surgeon took about 6 samples of tissue. The nurse assisting was wonderful
and now, 6 hours later, I am resting , but I wanted to share my experience. I have no
pain now, don't know if I will have some tomorrow.
I want to express my gratitude to all of you, who help me with your knowledge and . I will post the results on Monday. THANKS AGAIN!!!

I believe Zouzi already answered as many of these these questions as possible when you posted them 2 days ago? ( We cannot, of course, speak for your interventional radiologist...)

If you have a different question feel free to post again.

I understand that you are nervous about the procedure; everyone is.

Best wishes and please let us know how things turn out for you.
