How long does Mondors disease usually last?

2 years ago I found a lump. No pain or anything like that. Just a lump. Over the 2 years it has grown, my breast has changed shape and it's is painful to the point of agony sometimes. I cannot lay on that side some night. It's taken me 2 years and3 attempts to be taken seriously. I was told it was Mondors disease 2 weeks ago. However other than the indentation when I raise my arm, nothing else matches. I was told it'd only last a couple of weeks maybe 3 months at most. But this has been going on since August last year. I can't find anything online about how long it lasts etc and this is the first page I've come across with actual questions about it!! Thanks
