Pagets?

So for about 2 weeks my left breast has been itching like crazy. I notice that my nipple had become a little swollen and my breast has becoming noticeably larger then the right side which is was never before. I discovered what looked like a tiny ant bite but no bigger then a tip of a ball point pin and it popped on it's own. I woke up the next day and the skin started to peel off and ooze straw coloured liquid. Everyday more and more skin has came off. I have tingling and burning in my nipple/areola area and pain in my breast and a spot under my arm. It hurts to even touch it. My nipple is deformed from what it used to look like. it looks like someone pushed it over to the right side it is very swollen and painful i can't even see the vein that runs through my areola anymore and the nipple, areola is hard and underneath it is hard. So I went to the urgent care and he told me that it could be pagets and he is sending me for an ultrasound with the breast specialist and he put me on antibiotics but they haven't help. Does this sound like pagets or something else? I know it's painful!

I am afraid that it’s not possible for us to know exactly what’s going on without proper investigation. The  only thing I can tell you is that painful lumps are rarely associated with breast cancer.
I am also assuming  that your symptoms could be related to some type of infection which, I hope,will be successfully treated with perhaps an additional course of  antibiotic or a different one.

I have thought of those but I have not changed any laudry soaps, perfumes, nothing in the past 3 years. so I do not think it could be allergies. It could be just an infection which is what I am hoping for. I found a small marble like bump directly center over my nipple about 1 1/12" up and it does not feel like the fatty tissue it feels different more hard and kind of burns when i put pressure on it.

Hi,
There can be several possibilities that could cause nipple pain and itching.It could be a skin condition, allergy,hormonal changes or infection.Unfortunately (in rare cases) it could also indicate Paget Disease of the Nipple.
Most people with Paget’s disease could also have one or more tumors inside the breast .So it’s very important to see a Breast Specialist who will probably order some tests and ,if need be, a nipple biopsy to obtain a correct diagnosis.
Please keep us updated (Using this same thread) after you see the Breast Specialist and I hope that there won’t be anything to worry about.
