I would describe it as my abdomen feels constricted most of the time and it bulges like I look pregnant on one side.

I had a bilateral TRAM done in 1999 - I don't have any leg issues, but I struggle with bulging abdomen (I look 4 months pregnant), abdominal discomfort, pressure, bloating, gas - no one wants to open my abdomen as the risks outweigh the benefits. Do you have any comments about the abdomen?
I have not had any personal experience with tram-flap surgery but you certainly are not alone in having had problems with this type of surgery. At this point since your surgery was so long ago the only thing I can think of that might be of some help is to see a Physical Therapist. I'm sure there would be some type of exercise program that would help you to some degree. You might have gotten more benefit if this were done earlier but from what you say, any measure of relief would be well worth the effort. Regards ....
