I have been told I have a Sonolucent cyst 16mmx8mm. What am I to expect from the visit with the doctor?
Thanks for the info. I have had the Mamo and US. Scheduled to see a Surgeon later this week. All prayers are welcome.

The sonolucent cyst is a characteristic of a benign finding. However, the overall assessment of the doctor, the history, physical examination, and all the imaging studies will be the judge of the nature of the findings. You may expect additional diagnostics from the doctor such as mammogram or an incisional biopsy if he deemed it necessary. The character of the cyst may also give us a clue to the cause.
