THANK YOU THINK I WILL SET UP TEST TO EASE MIND!
Hi,
If you are concerned about a lump/lumps,the first thing you should do is to see your health care provider for a complete medical examination. Also your doctor can determine which tests are needed to know what these lumps represent .At 39 you are not too young to have a mammogram.
Some women with fibrocystic changes develop cysts in their breasts. This is very common and many women have this condition. These cysts could cause breast pain, but testing is needed to find out if these lumps are indeed cysts,(fluid filled ) or solid ones.
Also breast tenderness can be side effects of many oral contraceptives and I wonder if you are on birth control pills. The estrogen in the pills can cause breasts to enlarge and the veins become more prominent.
I don't think that your problem is too worrisome, but please call your doctor for an appointment to make sure that your breasts are healthy.
Take care and best wishes...
