Just saw your previous post, stating that you have been scheduled for a biopsy.
That is good; then you will have an answer instead of worrying so much about it. If something of concern is found, it would likely be very early as your doctor said, and if the results are benign, you will have peace of mind.

DCIS is the most common type of non-invasive breast cancer. The cancer cells have not spread beyond the ducts.
It is not "DUE TO microcalcifications," although certain patterns of microcalcifications may raise suspicion about the possiblity of some underlying abnormality, including such things as hyperplasia, atypical hyperplasia, and DCIS.
I'm sure if the microcalcs seen by your doctor were suspicious, a biopsy would have been recommended.
