HI,MY MOM HAS UNDERGONE SURGERY.NOW DOCTORS PRESCRIBE HERCEPTIN THERAPY AFTER CHEMO & RADIO THERAPY.NOW PLEASE TELL US THE CURRENT COST OF THIS THERAPY IN INDIA.

Herceptin is available at a cost of Rs 1.10 Lac per dose in Delhi.It is supplied by a renowned supplier in West Delhi.It is of Roche company.
Maybe it would help to contact a hospital in India to find out. Most
of us live in the US, and I don't even know the cost of chemo, etc, in the US never mind India?
The thing is that that the cost also varies depending on how much the provider can get for the drug in the US. In my case, I have insurance and the insurance company pays the provider for half of what they charge as there is a contract between them.
We are also all volunteers on this breast cancer site and help support cancer patients, or those who are worried about having it. We are not trained to handle the buisiness end of cancer.
