Thank you, I ended up going to the emergency room because the oozing from my breast drenched my shirt. They said it is a very large hematoma. They took a swab of the blood to send out to be tested. I will be going today to follow up with surgeon to make sure there is no infection. I have intermittent pain, more like a burning. So I will hopefully find out more. Again thank you for your time.
How are you? Are there other symptoms present such as pain or fever? Following the biopsy, it is normal to feel some soreness and swelling near the surgery site for a few days until the tissue heals. The incision should completely heal within 1 month. Strenuous activity should be avoided for the first 2 or 3 weeks following the biopsy to prevent bleeding. It would be best to see your doctor for follow-up and proper evaluation of this discharge. Try to rest and avoid any rigorous activity.
Take care and keep us posted.
