20 years old and throat worries.

About 2 weeks ago i got a pretty bad cold.  During this time, i noticed some odd reddish orange stripes going down my throat and a tiny blister looking thing.  I though it was the onset of strep, but no white spots appeared and my throat wasnt really sore.  I used zicam for a couple days and my cold went away.  that was about 5 days ago.   i still have the orange reddish stripes and the blister i think got a little bigger.  its painful also.  my throat is red and it looks like my tonsils are a little red too.  it also feels like i have something "stuck" in my throat.  its not necessarily difficult to swallow, but it just feels like theres something there.  im not sure if something is maybe swollen.  my glands dont seem swollen either.  im 20 years old, been married for almost 2 years, and im scared i really have something wrong with me.  i dont want cancer at 20.  im not ready for that.  i do smoke, but have cut back drastically especially when the prices spiked up a couple weeks ago.  im trying to quit.  i work 40 hours a week and go to school 20 hours a week and dont really have any time to see a doctor.  can someone please help me!

Thank you for helping me.  Im going to try to get to the doctor today.  Yes, i had to still go to work and school while i was sick.  And now im working a 10 day in a row at work.  Were understaffed and i always get stuck doing these things.  But im going to the doctor today for sure.  I finally have some time lol.  But thank you for your opinion.  My mother says ive been a hypochondriac since i was 2 years old and always came to the worst conclusions.  Which is true lol.  My wisdom tooth also seems to be infected, so im in the process of finding an oral surgeon to get that taken care of.  I just recently got insurance back so im trying to get back into prim shape haha.

To me it sounds you haven't really given yourself a chance to completely heal. You are up at least 60+ hours a week. You need at least 7 hrs of complete rest. With the sickness you had did you still go to work or school? With your symptoms it sounds like
you should have been on some anti-biotics. Cancer is way far from what you have. You are not experiencing any of the primary symptoms that comes with Cancer. I suggest you make time and go see your doctor please.
