Thanks for the information and suggestion Dr Santos.
My pain is now on and off. But its not that intense. As per my GI doctor evaluated few causes for the pain. As my Endoscopy is normal, CT shows focal pancreatitis , and Amylase and Lypase levels are normal. So he doesnt think that its Chronic Pancreatitis but feels its acid pain. Now my pain is on and off. When I eat oily or spicy food it recurs with mild to moderate pain.
Thank you for the advice

Hi,
I understand your concern regarding this.Focal pancreatitis may be acute or chronic depending on the symptoms present. Chronic pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas that does not heal or improve, gets worse over time, and leads to permanent damage while acute pancreatitis presents with sudden swelling and inflammation of the pancreas that resolves in a couple of weeks. It is best that you discuss your management plan with your attending physician also for proper evaluation. If it has been 2 months already, additional diagnostic tests may need to be done. Take care and do keep us posted.
