Painless ulcer on my gums for 5 weeks now...

I've never had an ulcer on my gums before and suddenly a painless one appears on my gums... its under my two front bottom teeth (stretches out to be the size of them) and it doesn't appear to be healing... it looks like a canker sore but doesn't those usually hurt? Other symptoms I'm having is a white coat on my tongue, bottom lip is slightly numb... Anyone else have experience with this?

Dont worry my friend all you can do is mix a little salt in warm water and swish for about 20 seconds every night for about 2 nights, and they'll dissappear! I used to do the same whenever i get infected from these painfull things.

By what you say, you have had this for some time.  I would have a doctor take a look at this if its not healing.  I have had the white coating on my tongue and
had to take antibiotics and suck on pills the doctor gave me to get rid of it.
They called it THRUSH.
