Pet Scans

Do pet scans pick up all types of cancers?
When sent to perform a pet for specific reason, is that specific organ checked or is it a total body scan?

Can you provide me some information on how much it will cost in doing the total body scan?

Hi.
PET scan can be used in various types of cancer.  A total body scan is performed and can provide information regarding tumor detection, staging, and tumor response.
This is useful for non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and lymphoma.
