Hi there,
Recently I have been reading up about Nitrosamine and that it is apparently a known carcinogen. In the past I used amyl nitrate fairly heavily for short periods over about 6 years and apparently it increases nitrosamine production in the body.
This has got me a bit concerned, not that I can do much about it now but I am wanting to ask if anyone knows a bit about this. I guess I am wanting to know if Nitrosamines are eventually flushed from the body or remove/changed over time or not. Or if there is anything I can do now to help apart from not using it anymore which I don't.
Thanks
Amyl nitrite and nitrosamine have chemically distinct structures and distinct chemical formulas and its not all nitrosamines that are carcinogenic.
Hope this information helps.
Take care!
