I am concerned as their is a history in my family of MGUS and amyloidosis. I have been having slight temps, night sweats and upper right abdominal pain/fullness.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
Sclerotic bone lesions usually refer to a slow-growing process. Aside from neoplasm or cancer, there are other differentials that may need to be considered including trauma; vascular issues such as hemangiomas or infarct; infection; medications effect; inflammatory; metabolic; congenital; autoimmune; and even idiopathic causes. For proper diagnosis, additional diagnostic tests and evaluation may need to be done. It is best that you discuss the result with your attending physician for proper evaluation. Other factors such as your medical history, symptoms present, and physical examination are also important considerations. Take care and do keep us posted.
