Stomach nodule

I had my gallbladder removed and the doctor found a 6 centimeter nodule in my stomach. He is doing a biopsy, has anyone experienced this and was it cancer?

I'm assuming that the biopsy came up benign, which would be wonderful, hope so!! . If so then  ... try to get a followup MRI or CT enterography after 6 months to a year, just as a safety check. You are likely very healthy, but peace of mind is what we all crave, and this is the way. Just in case.
