2 kittens are doing better.
I called my vet as soon as I read about the belladonna plant and she assured me that everything was fine. I am from the united states.lol actually in Ohio. Still waiting for the cats to get better. I always have fresh water available. thank you for all concerns.
If you have concerns about the belladonna pills, you can ask our Holistic specialists in the Holistic care forum at the Ask A Vet Expert section.
YES, it can. This is probably an herbal plant made into pill form. It scared me when I read about the belladonna tablets.
Where are you from?????? I seriously would like to know....are you from this country?
From what I read yesterday about Belladonna. This is a flower that is safe for dogs and livestock!!!!
O MY Goodness. It's not a plant but it is a pill. But still could the pill be made from the plant?
I seriously hope that you are not talking about the Belladonna plant!!!!!!!!!! =(
This plant is poisonous to cats!!!

If this is a plant, where are you from and what kind of vet would prescribe a poisonous plant???
I hope that you get this in time!!
make sure they drink lots of water! don't want the fur babies to get dehydrated on top of all this fun stuff.
please keep us updated on how momma and baby are doing!
took the baby to the vet on saturday she put her & her mama(she has it also)on metronidazole suspension. vet told me that if they didnt improve by mon. to call back & try 2 get a stool sample. well its monday & there was no change so i took both cats in today and she put them on belladonna tablets. the stool sample came back ok. so now its a waiting game. thank you so much to everyone with comments they sure do help out alot.
Hopefully, you will come back to answer a couple questions:
1. Have you had her checked by a vet already?
2. What are you feeding her?
Keep her hydrated, that is most important. And do not give her any medication without the vet's supervision.
I totally agree! Kittens get dehydrated very quickly. If she's been having this uncontrolled diarrhea for more than two days, then she needs to go to the vet today.
Good luck!
Hi,
Please get her to a Vet as soon as you can. She may be dehydrated, too, if this has been going on for a while.
