Cancer?

Hi, I have a 3 yr old DLH and he is pure white.
I was patting him and I noticed that he has a red dot on the bottom of his ear. I no it is something that has just happened otherwise I would of noticed it. Its not raised or anything it looks like a bruise.
I want to know if I need to get it checked out or wait.

My friend who is a vet looked at hin abd said it was an insect bite.

He used to but hasnt really been outside for 3 months since we moved into our new place.

hi and welcome. does your kitty go outside in the sun?  white kitties are very prone to sun damage on the ears, however its usually on the tips, still wouldn't hurt to get it looked at...good luck.
