Woahhh! Thats not long LOL...
Yeah, my boyf is trying to get money to take her to the vets... sometime soon, Because the savalon is working but I wanna get her checked and too see if they can treat her to flea's or if its anything else. Because I get paranoid you see... and when I dab the savalon into her, she will go a scratch it again!!
x
aww that's good. You definitely need the right food intake now that you have a baby growing in your belly. I haven't given birth to baby Noah yet. Still have 4 more weeks to go :-)
Keep up the kitty updates!
Awhh thanks. and yeah it is. Yours?? or have you had your little one??
And yeah I do and I feel so bad for them, but they cant have treatment for 2 more weeks at the most. And cause I sprayed her it shocked her and so she scratched her scabs off. So I spray some tissue and dab her now and its fine, I do it every 2 hrs untill she can have flea treatment, but where we put the treatment is where the patch is... so its really hard LOL...
and no the scabs are in patches LOL... And its weird LOL... But I hope the savalon is helping, I really do.
I got discharged from my anorexia clinic today which is goood. Made me happy :)

awww......kitty loves you :-)
Scabs getting bigger? Well she is scratching. Until you get rid of the fleas the scabs will continue to get bigger. Girl, do you know how much those fleas are bothering that poor cat? She is very itchy, so she is scratching to the point where she bleeds thus leading to the formation of scabs. Keep up with the treatment!! Good job momma. I hope your pregnancy is going well :-)
Just sprayed her... haha, she didnt mind, she gave me a kiss hah, but I took a proper look and its now just a scab. Is that good?? No more like skin skin, just hard scabs and stuff, Does that mean its gettting better??
She wont leave me alone now, where as when I first noticed it she would like hide away because I think it as so sore... now she is glued to my side haha, i dont want her to go to my Sister in laws! LOL, but I get to see her everyday!
But do scabs mean its getting better?
x
She is oly 9 weeks so isnt allowed flea treatment, untill she is 12,
All the big cats except the mum has new flea collars (Because the mum might be pregnant and is still feeding so isnt allowed, and the big cats except the mum has had flea treatment.)
I was told by a friend of my mums who was a vet/petshop owner for 18 years, to put savalon on her sore.. and its working, its a spray one not cream but its working.
One of the baby kittens is only 2 kg or whatever it is? Because or 2 g because she is still getting over cat flu and trying to gain hr weight back.. She was the biggest. Now the smallest cause she nnearly died. So yeah, she is getting better. :)
But they are too young for flea treatment.
x
Oh, so she does have fleas. How much does she weigh?
And by the way, when cats play rough and they hurt each other, you'll most likely see scratches. You may see bite wounds but for the most part they use their claws...when they play. I have never seen any of my cats bite each other to cause damage unless they really, really mean business :-)
Ok what is her weigh? And, if she is near other animals you will have to treat them all.
I found out, She has fleas. Cause I just picked one off her...
But it makes me cry cause it looks so sore... No blood just hair coming away and its red cause of soreness bless her...
x
se hasnt lost any more fur any where else, and its just red, hasnt opened up or anything...
Its just in that patch, and my vets is freaking fully booked untill blimmin Monday... So she is going then, and Ill have more money because its my boyfs brothers cat he just cant take it yet, so he is helping pay, OUR VETS IS EXPENSIVE!
Because she is a long hair though, its coming out easier... Because they malt more... But there no fur loss any where else just there, its just red from being sore (Like if we get a flea bite and we scratch it) ut no blood, nothing, just getting a bit bigger but not much... and I have seen her bite there kinda the best sh can LOL....
There are no teeth marks so I dont think its rough play!
Just annoyed me thaat there is no space at the vets today and I dont have a car so I cant take here anywhere else. And its techincally my mums responsibility! Not mine! which annoyed me more!!
But she is still fine, eating and drinking and playing. Which I guess is good, she is watching TV at the mo, so yeah....
Think like this just really upset me! So much!!!

Are you taking her to the vet tomorrow? Don't freak out. She will be just fine. If the skin is not swollen, there is no yellow yucky thing coming out of the scabs, or blood for that matter, then she is most likely scratching it because scabs usually itch. My cat had this all the time when he was a kitten until his fur became strong enough to stand rough play :-)
You do need to get to the bottom of why she is losing hair though. Has she lost any more fur in other places? I am being positive here, in hoping it is all a normal thing that some kittens go through when they play rough. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your kitten. Skin diseases are just annoying to treat. hehehe.....dominosarah, a dear member of this community, as well as Zodiacqueen can tell you the story of when my cats got a fungal infection. Ugh..ew....yuck...lol
By the way, if it is a fungal infection.......let us know. I know just the thing to get rid of it: Lamisil !!! Ugh...I don't even want to remember those times lol....
She keeps scratching her sore...
Its not got any biggger, just where she is scratching it cause its obv irritating her bless, Cause she cant have a lampshade things because she is using her feet to scratch it... and she has nibbled at it too...
Hmm...
Because I know its there its scaring me!
even though its not infected, just getting a bit red where she is scratching it..
xx
The only way they can spay her is by taking the kittens out... we dont want that.
Yeahs its Human tuna... But not everyday, every 3 days because we were told they are fine on biscuts because she is eating (we have 2 other cats who are the same) so the Tuna ISNT everyday because I know that is bad.
Whats ring worm?
No you know when you cut your leg and you get like a clear fluid over it but its not noticeable unless you poke it, Its like that.... But she dont like me touching it no more... She has just knocked our lamp over, running around playing chase with the others.
It looked like this happened a while ago though??
But I never noticed it... She is fine running around...
and yeah on the right hand side under around the edge of the bald skin but under the fur there is a scab if you can seee it??
I have to find all the money.... my mum wont help when its her kitten!!! LOL.... so I am trying! but she will go to the vets friday NO MATTER WHAT!
I know a vet well an ex vet who is coming to check her tomorrow! and the vet vets will depend on that really... but she is being seen by a professional either way.
Thank you, and it doesnt seem serious does it?
x
Sounds like maybe ringworm, Cassie. I'm glad you'll be taking her to the vet on Friday. Could also possibly be an allergy to her food. Since the patch is kind of hard, could be mites or scabies. What do you mean "some liquid when you touch it?" You mean it weaps?
The tuna kitty likes - is that human tuna?
I really hope the mama cat isn't pregnant again. Even though you say the kittens are sold, it's very hard on the mama cat to be pregnant so often. Even if she is pregnant, the spay can still happen.
Well, the good news is it doesn't sound serious. Skin looks good and there are no signs of fungal infections or fleas, according to your post. Waiting 'til the end of this week wouldn't honestly cause any damage to the cat.
Dillan, my younger, had this when he was a kitten. He had bold spots around the neck but it was because of rough play. If she hasn't been scratching then it could be that she got it while playing with one of her siblings. They do that with their back claws :-) You mentioned there was a tiny scab. They can do some damage when playing rough. And long haired kittens can lose fur. I would keep an eye on that area. Watch the skin closely, and monitor kitty's overall behavior. If she isn't uncomfortable I wouldn't honestly apply anything to that area. I have noticed lots of scabs in my cats which they get from playing rough and if they don't seem bothered by it I'll let it heal by itself.
You do, however, want to take her as soon as you can, just for reassurance.
Otherwise sounds like she is doing great!
