Cats X Bleech

I use to clean the litters first with some bleech ( Sodium hipoclorite solution) and then with a mild detergent, always washing residues off very well
And my girls always received those clean litters with rubbings and entusiastic ways previously to a use - that I always credited to the need /wish of putting their smell there again.
Now I notice Loreena rubbing against me while using that for laundry, or similar situations.
Does anybody know- or can search about - if cats enjoy bleech smell someway?
If so, its safe for them? I mean, not let him mess with the stuff, just use it in her presence/things...

Thats so interesting its only recently ,being an inside/outside cat that Tweety has been using the litter box I always have one  down in case she has to go when she is inside .I haven't used Vinegar but I do know Vinegar is good for so many things , nor have I used bleach I usually wash it out with mild washing soap then dry it .

Once I ask a vet how could I disinfect a carrier if it was used for some cat not mine , or even mines if need so.
He said I could use bleach without problem - in the clinic they have other products ( but Im not sure if they always have time to use so I avoid letting my girls use those
I have 3 cariers = 2 were only used once or twice in 2 years but its better this way...

Kryyy, they really like that, cos Lucky is a lot pricky about smells and sometimes she even refuses food ( MIRACLE) from my hand if its smelling someting like soap or cream

my cat LOVES bleach, so i try not to use it..  I mopped the floor with bleach and left the room for a second, when i came back my cat was sniffing the floor and rolling around in it.  so I DO think that cats enjoy the smell of bleach.

apple, its not a good idea to use bleach in their litter box or bedding....their sense of smell is so much keener than ours is so you can imagine how over powering the slightest amount of fumes would be to them....use vinegar instead and rinse well afterwards. :)
