Jack's been found!
Don't know if you've heard-Jack is a cat that was lost @ JFK a few months ago-he was found the other day!! Unfortunately, I think he has fatty liver disease from not eating and has only a 50/50 chance of surviving after being found after all this time-good thoughts and prayers for Jack, please!! Jack's human, Karen, posted that he had successful surgery today for a leg wound and the vets are so far happy w/his progress. His main issues are from the 61 days of malnutrition. :( He's where he needs to be and can get the best help-he's coming home first class when able, Karen says. Apparently his carrier was stacked atop another and was somehow knocked down or over and came apart allowing Jack to run away. I can't imagine..good thoughts for all ill and missing kitties out there and I have special hugs for all of mine!!
