NO problem with that at all for a treat.....just don't make it a steady diet:)
Im not using bones at all - but when I cook chicken for Lolo as a treat I always use breast fillet - the thinnest one I can grab to cook fast and be make in small pieces after...
if you are using the bones apple they MUST be cooked slowly with a little apple cider vinegar to soften them up and than you can mush them...do NOT EVER feed a cat chicken bones unless they've been cooked in apple cider ving. and soften like I said....than MUSH them up. or put in a blender and be sure they are all ground up well.
cooking with the bones give calcium and the apple CV. leaches the calcium out so its in the broth.that way if you want to discard the bones rather than mush them you still have all the calcium.....
always be extremely causious with bones esp. those tiny chicken bones...they can get caught in their throats if not mushed up or ground well...:)
Girl, you really scares me ! :-) Just today I was wondering if Eukanuba was out of risk according to your rigid approval method...
Btw,I read the post about Milo - and felt I little unconfortable knowing I should use chicken with bones instead of chicken breast...
Thanks. I'll let my brother and my niece know.
