The Boys

Well, they're fine. Thank God they are, for once. But, this forum does get depressing sometimes, so, I thought it'd be fun to share what the cats have been up to lately.

The latest on my kids is that, whereas before they would play with, and run from the lizards, they now eat them. They first torture the lizards by biting hard and ripping off the tail and limbs, batting them around like there is no tomorrow, and then they just eat the lizards (that sneak into my house). I'd say I have a great repellent for lizards now! I wonder if this has to do with the fact that hey eat raw foods? Abby has shown interest in live animals since he started this diet. It is surprisingly amazing to see this little carnivore do the things he would naturally do if he was living outside, so independent I'm a proud momma. I bet he would eat me if he could!!! Still proud though, hehehe.  As for Dillan, well, Dillan is my personal stylist. He spends hours "brushing" my hair (Yes he is actually licking it) I've had to wash my hair so many times now..He.....helps in the kitchen, so I think he is chef material too.

....and, your kitty?

Well Snickers is now on moth patrol.  He stalks them and then takes them to his snack bar.......I have yet to find the location.  He likes flies too but he eats them.  He is still ambushing the beagle but not as often as she is getting very bad health wise.  He still stands in the water dish, throws water all over the place, plays in the toilet, etc.  The beagle still thinks he is a dork!!!!

Oh, I'm so glad to hear your kitties are better!
Let's see, what have my kitties been up to lately? Well, Misha acts like the old lady she is and sleeps a lot on my bed. Otherwise, she's trying to stay clear of the annoying puppies, lol. Sakura, however, is intrigued by the puppies, maybe because she's younger? She watches them, and has even played with them! At least until they get a little too rambunctious, then she swats them on the head, lol.
Sakura's being the little snot that she is and still knocking over any drink you may leave out. I can't even keep vases of flowers because she'll knock that over! I made the brilliant decision to get the cats a water fountain to drink out of, thinking that would keep Sakura from trying to drink out of the kitchen sink. Well, she liked to fountain but it didn't keep her out of the sink. And when I'd turn the fountain off at night I could hear her knocking the lid off of it and even dragged out the filter! Little stinker! I think I may take that fountain back. Why the heck does this cat have to knock everything over??!! Remember the Christmas tree, everybody?! That cat, lol.
Ok, I guess that's it for me for now...next?

Hi PK...so glad to hear your kitties are doing so well.  I know what you mean about the forum.  So many sick kitties :(   This is a good idea.

Jade loves to play with lizards, but she has yet to eat one.  She did bring one in the house once though..yikes.  Luckily, I saw it before she dropped it and I shooed her outside real quick.  She had a bird the other night, but I made her drop it and we tossed it over the fence.  Don't want her eating or near birds.  That's how she got that fungal infection.

Jade likes to lick hubby and I's forehead.  Him especially.  Probably because he's down on the floor and getting on the floor is out of the question for me these days so hubby gets all the lovin'.  She will rub her head all over his hair, then go back to the forehead and give little "bites" like she's biting fleas.  This will go on as long as he'll let her.  It's very cute!

Who's next?...
