This is not a question.

For those of you who don't seem to know (and those who do, this is not for you), pet ownership is a responsiblity as well as a priveledge.  You did not have to choose to have a pet.  But you did.  I hope and pray that you educate yourself fully on your particular pet's needs, and that if you find that you cannot provide these needs, you would re-home the animal with someone who can and will afford to love and care for it.  Animals do not ask to be claimed.  You choose to take them home.  That means not just the happy playful critter, but the fact that it may tear up your furniture and poop on your favorte rug and bother the neighbors by making too much noise or digging up their garden.  You are responsible for everything your pet does, so if it hurts someone, you pay.  If it damages someone else's property, you pay.  And you keep paying, for food, vet visits, vaccinations, collars, restraint systems, toys, bedding, and the list goes on.  My message here is this: DO NOT KEEP AN ANIMAL YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO CARE FOR.  Find it a good home, so that it does not suffer under your lack of care.  SPAY or NEUTER pets that you do not plan to breed!  Only professional breeders should be doing this anyway.  Too many pet pregnancies happen because of not being spayed or neutered, and then you have babies to deal with, who are also YOUR responsibility.  I hope that i have shed some light on pet ownership for some of you.  God Bless - Blu

Hi Blu,

Truer words were never spoken. I agree with everything you wrote in this
comment. Having a pet companion is a tremendous responsibility.
The reality is pets cost a lot of money and if one can't afford to look after
the pet companion properly, by this I mean regular veteranary care,
good quality food, proper bedding, the list goes on, then it is very important
that you rehome that pet companion. I also agree with you that all companion pets should be spayed or neutered to avoid unwanted kittens
and puppies. The shelters are unfortunately full of them. Thank you for
writing your very honest and straight forward comments. Blessings - Eve :)
