cat licking off fur.

I have a 7 year old cat,male.All winter and spring he was fine,till the weather got better.Then he started to jump up on the window ledge as always.( Summer and Fall }He has started to lick off the hair on his bag legs,lower belly and parts of his tail.also noticed some type of uzing liquid that is warm.We noticed because he lye's on a towel.

sorry I still don't understand how can he be oozing from his belly if there are no open area's???
do you mean from his bum?? what color is the liquid?

and what kind of diet is he eating? canned or dry? chicken or what????

He is oozing from his lower belly.No open sores.We have changed hi litter already.we have changed his several times.he has never lost his appetite..

where is the oozing liquid coming from? does your kitty have open sores? or is the liquid brown and possibly oozing fecal matter?

the main reason for licking fur off is allergies, when its the back legs and lower belly it is most likely the litter he is allergic too..if you have scented litter than buy some NONscented. maybe need to change to a natural product for awhile to see if this helps such as shredded paper or beads.

could also be an allergy to the food, what are you feeding?
