Dr. Frim agreed to review DS MRIs

Hi everyone,

I sent Mikey's Medical records, and MRIs for Dr. Frim in Chicago to review, and I am so happy that he agreed to do it.
I asked if he is a Chiari Specialist and the girl I spoke with said absolutely. So we are just waiting now.

Barb,

There r so many types of HA's they he can have...migraines.....most chiari HA's will be from the back of the head and neck....but I found they can wrap around and feel like a vise at the temples.....

As for Dr Frim..I know he is a chiari pediatric specialist in Chicago.....and not too much else except he has a good reputation.

I will be keeping ur DS in my prayers and I hope u hear back from the dr soon.

Hi Selma,

Thank you for the info, I feel better knowing that you have heard of him and that he has a good reputation.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that we get some answers. DS is home today with a terrible HA. I am just wondering is there a specific HA that you get with Chiari? I started to chart his HAs and he has been getting  them in his temple area.  He has longer hair and he said it hurts just to shake his head.

Dr Frim has a very good rep in chiari circles and I am aware of him thru his reputation only, but I have heard many speak of him highly.
