Recovery

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to let you all know how great I am doing. I had my surgery Friday morning and I am being discharged from the hospital today! I have gone on a few walks with my mom here at the hospital and I've had several people with me to make the hospital setting a little more comfortable.

I feel very uncomfortable and it is especially hard to sleep at night, but other than that I could not have asked for a better outcome. A lot of my back pain and numbness I had have not shown up at all since the surgery. It could be from all the medications I am on, but we will see!

I couldn't eat for a few days, but now I am back to normal! Anyway, I have to get some things ready to go but I will certainly keep everyone posted on my progress.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers!

Kate

Hi Kate,

Just a word of warning...take it easy and do not overdo!!

The meds to tend to leave u in a state of feeling wonderful.....and it does wear off when u try to do some normal things once u r home.

Don't get over confident and try things u r not ready for.

I am so happy for u and that u r doing so well
