Most drs will review for a nominal fee...so by contacting the office u will find out how that drs office treats MRI reviews.

No worries.....if u have ne questions on the drs just ask. I am sure there r still members here that may have been to a dr u r interested in seeing and they can shed some light on their experience.

Definately look at the list and research any dr you might be interested in! Also, i thought i would give you the ones that i personally knew of.... Dr. Oro in CO and TCI in NY both charge a nominal fee to review mri. Dr. Heffez in WI and Dr. Di in OH do not charge a fee and Dr. Heffez tries his best to review an mri within a week or so. I'm sure there are many other drs that do this as well but those I personally sent my records to. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Blessings ~ Shannon
I sent mine to Dr. Heffez in WI and actually spoke to him on phone...however, I was hospitalized quickly here (well, WVU, Then UPMC Mercy, then UPMC Presby) after very rapidly deteriorating symptoms, stayed six weeks in hospital and then had surgery. Dr. Heffez told me over phone I had a chiari when all the other crazies kept saying I didn't..Ultimately it was determined I did have hydrocephalus and FINALLY they did surgery and tonsils were much bigger than any scan. The nurse was really nice from Wisconsin. I was in a panic because I was having seizures, and essentially became paralyzed. DOn't know if he routinely gets on the phone or not but he did with me. Had I not gotten the help in Pittsburgh I was headed there ASAP....
