Help with medical bills

Do you need help with your medical bills?  If you are being seen at a hospital they have finacial aid for patients that meet the requirement.  If you do not have insurance make sure you fill out the papers for the finacial aid.  They can pay for from 50 percent to 100 percent of all bills.  If you have social secuirity then go to the nearest disability/senior center.  they can help you get on state insurance and find insurance for you while you are waiting for medicare or the other one.  Just look around and find out every thing you can that is available in your state.  If you need help with getting medical service you can go to the free clinics and they can set you up with medical service for you or a family member.  There is always a way to find medical coverage in the hospital, state agencies, or just with a free clinic in your area.  I know that getting health care is hard to do especially with a condition that no ones knows anything about but it is possible to get what you need.  I got all my medical cost paid for including my surgery from last year all because of insurance and help from finacial aid from the hospital.  They paid 100 percent of what my insurance did not pick up.  Do not give up it is possible.

In NY it is called family health plus for low income it is free. The next step up is Healthy Ny which you pay a premium and it is like an hmo. They also offer Child health Plus which is based on family income and it is based on income monthly premium is anywhere from 0 to 80.00 per month. No co pays no cost for prescriptions. It is our states way of making sure there is no child left without medical coverage.

Of course they also have Medicaid which goes along with social services and welfare.

Also depending on the state you live in there may be a medical program that you can go through that looks at your income and depending on your income is depending on how much you pay.  I know in Oregon it is called FHIAP.  They can pay as much as 90 percent on the pay for insurance and it is private insurance that you get and  not state insurance.  You just have to do some research in your state.
