Hello
I am glad to hear that the surgery went well and that things for the most part are going well.
I would contact your NS and mention this swelling..right away!! Though I never had a leak after my surgery...what you are describing sounds a lot like a CSF leak!! I am sure others here that have had one would agree with me.
I would not leave it any longer...I would be seeing your NS instead of the PT today!!
Please let us know how you are!!
Carolyn
Thanks so much. I go to PT at 3:00 today, so I am hoping they can help me with the swelling. Is this normal after surgery. Yes it does hurt. It feel's like a balloon and ecspecially in the morning's it feel's like it is going to pop. Has this happened to any of you? Please let me know because I am quite concerned.

Hi every one ,
It has been at least 6 week's since I have been on here to talk to you. I have had my good day's but hate to say most bad. I first started out with just the hurt, but know I'm healing process, but now for the last 3 day's I have had a lot of swelling in the back of my head. I was wondering if any one else have had this? It feel's like water bill up. Should I be worried? I start therapy on Wed. so I hope they will be able to help me out with this also. I hope every one is doing well. I have to go some one just stopped by for a visit.
Thanks for letting us know!
So good to hear she is doing good! Please give her our love and keep us posted! Blessings ~ Shannon

I will be praying for you!
I wish you well! You will be in my prayers. I have not had the surgery yet, but probably will within the next couple of months. I cannot imagine the anxiety. I guess I will know soon enough. You have the right attitude about getting it over with so the healing can begin. We'll all be looking forward to your husband's updates and hearing about your great progress!!
God bless!
