Selmas , speaks the gospel.
Please research all your able & search for a doctor that's main goal seems Chiari based.
There's a lot of testing done to help determine your illness.
Don't loose faith keep fighting to find a doctor.
Selmas,it so cool of you to try and help people set points in the right direction.
Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Finding the right Dr is key....and not always easy and can be down right frustrating....so we have started a list for others to use to help them get started in researching Drs...as the list is not meant to be a referral nor endorsement for those listed....it just indicates a member here has been to, treated by and liked the Dr.....you should see a couple and compare them.
FYI- you may need to travel to find the right Dr.
We have one Dr...in your state....that does not mean there may not be others...we are just not aware of them....
ALABAMA
Dr. Anthony Martino
Mobile, Alabama
The best way to know if you have the right Dr is to research ALL related conditions and see what the Dr says in regard to them....the more you know the better you will be able to know when you have the right Dr...
For me, the Dr had to have his focus on Chiari and ALL related conditions and nothing else....it is easy to see those Drs by looking at on line bios for them....meeting them...and comparing them to others.
