Hi Stargazy,
I just saw Dr. Oro 2 weeks ago... and he is WONDERFUL! I am having surgery on Feb. 24 for 1 of my 2 probs. I have DDD and am having a metal rod put in my neck before I have decompression surgery. I had trouble on the flight. I threw up the whole time and i felt bad, but that is normally how i feel. I took pain medication, but honestly did not have much worse pressure than I normally do except for the desent. I agree with Selma and the desent was the most trouble for me and where I felt bad. When we were up in the air I felt better. Hopefully, it won't be worse for you. I am sure you are used to feeling bad all the time, I am, so the flight did not make the pressure much worse for me except at the end. Where are you flying from? I flew from DFW in Dallas to Denver and the flight was 2 hours. How long will your flight be?

Hi Last Jan I went on a flight to Guatemala I had no issues on the two flights down...we had a layover....however, I developed problems while there....not sure of the pressure because of the altitude ot feet above sea level it was...but CO u will be up there too.
Now the flight back I was miserable...but I felt like I had a cold....and the pressure coming down was the problem...once up I was fine.I tried chewing gum...no help.....again for me it was only on the return flight and on the desent.
Good luck
