Who is eligible for Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan?
To be eligible for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan,
You must be a citizen or national of the United States or reside in the U.S. legally.
You must have been without health coverage for at least the last six months. Please note that if you currently have insurance coverage that doesn’t cover your medical condition or are enrolled in a state high risk pool, you are not eligible for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan.
You must have a pre-existing condition or have been denied coverage because of your health condition.

This should help...did u apply for SSDI?  

What is great with this PICP is they do not say no bcuz of a pre existing and there is no waiting period...and it is  affordable too!!

Thank you for the information!  I lost my job alittle over a year ago and my pain management doctor will not see patients without insurance so I am stuck with having to find someone who will insure me with 2 herniated discs, fibromyalgia and Hepatitis C or have to find a new pain management doctor.  Unfortunately, I live in a very small town and he is the only pain doctor within an hour and a half drive so he can make his own rules and we have to go with them.  When I told him that I cannot find anyone to insure me his comment was that the withdrawal symptoms will go away eventually...nice doc huh?
