Neck pain is back

My generalized neck pain is back. The same pain I had before the surgery just not as intense. Should I be worried or am I just overreacting? What is the likelihood the syrinx is back after my 3 month MRI showed it was decompressed. It has been almost 8 months since my surgery

I haven't scheduled one. I think he just wants a 1 year MRI not necessarily a visit

Hi....if it is not as bad, I would look to what u r doing now, it may be u r over doing something that is causing this as it can take up to 2 yrs or more for the nerves to heal...so just bcuz the incision is healed , inside has a way to go still.....

It can also be from a related condition, or from lack of exercise of ur neck during recovery....

Do u have another visit with ur NS planed? I had one at 1 yr post op and that was my last one....
