Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
May I ask, have you been treated for your Chiari and do you have any related conditions as well?
lol...i know. i still do that too. but we really can drive ourselves crazy this way! lol the changes in temp aren't that much and personally i wouldn't worry much about it. heck. i DON"T worry about it! lol when my temp spiked this past week, it was 102.2 in one ear and 102.6 in the other. ok...i have a fever. take 2 tylenol and sweat it out! lol! seriously, though....we have so many things that are just a bit off with our bodies that if we really get worried over every one of them, we really would go insane! this one, in my humble opinion, really isn't anything to worry about. it's just one of those things that is. save your worries for the big stuff, honey! there's plenty of that out there! lol!! glad you can see the humor in it...that's what keeps me going a lot of days!

Well when I take my husband and children's temps it doesn't change much from side to side maybe only a couple tenths of a degree. Just seems weird and I'm always searching for explanations....lol...everytime I turn around I have a new symptom.
i have the thermometer you use in the ear and it does the same thing. there was an explaination for this in the directions that came with it but i can't find it anywhere! lol! go figure, right? check in the pamphlet that came with yours....there might be something in there that refers to the differential.
