I also find that whatever part of my body is numb comes back if I change positions. I often wake up with different parts numb. Chiari roulet LOL
Could the numbness be due to carpel tunnel syndrome? Stress can make you sleep with your hands clenched which can get worse over time and be very painful. Try wrist stabelizers available at your local pharmacy. They keep your wrists straight while you sleep so you don't pinch the nerve going through to your fingers.
My ruptured disc in my neck causes that...may want to check your discs.
It can be the position u sleep in make sure u do not bend ur neck that u r looking down...try to keep ur neck straight...I know hard to do while asleep....
Pillows are important, and u can look thru a few pages of threads here or use the search this community for threads on the topic of pillows.
The other issue is making sure u do not have low levels of vitamins and minerals...vit D, B12, magnesium and potassium all can play a role in numbness.
