Sleep study results!

I have "mild" sleep apnea

average 10 stops breathing for a few seconds and my oxygen levels remained normal - 95 it showed on report so I am guessing that was average score also

he said its normal for people to stop 5 times anyway?

so I am happy with that result :)!!

I only scored 4 on the questionaire they did before the sleep study, and he said by looking at that he didnt think I even had SA but he thinks I should continue with weight loss and exercise etc etc and if I ever find myself getting drowsy often during day or falling asleep, then to go for a further study.

feels like an enormous ammount of stress just left my body... was worried so long with this

Then I would try the humidifier and breath rights in the mean time and  keep a journal....with the release of the stress over this u may continue to see improvements.

The issue is more how u feel, and if u wake gasping for air...that is when u have to worry....and may want some aid at night....

For now u may want to use a humidifier in ur bedroom, and those breath rights....and a antihistamine may be helpful....I was told to take one to help with my pain meds after going to the ER this summer and it has helped with my PND and my sleep.....

I am sure they also did a study of the oxidation of ur blood....that indicates if u r getting enuff oxygen....mine was enuff they did not do the sleep study....if it had been low they would have done both....

U will want to ask what the mild means in ur case.....and if ur Dr feels u  will need to be checked again and if so, under what conditions?

Glad u have ur results and know what ur baseline is in case it should get worse...u have something to compare to....

Could be u just need more time to recover.....that stress that was released may just do the trick : )
